About the company

A fencing and gate company that works in steel, sand and slope.

Bc Fencing & Gates Pty Ltd fabricates and installs boundary fencing, pool barriers and automated gates for property owners, builders and site managers across Western Australia.

Who we are

Two trades in one company

Most fencing problems are not fencing problems. A gate that drops is a hinge and a post problem. A panel with a wedge of daylight under it is a set-out problem. A motor that keeps tripping is usually an alignment problem that was never fixed before the automation went on.

Bc Fencing & Gates was set up to keep both halves of the job in the same hands: fabrication in the workshop, and set out and installation on site. Frames are welded square, drilled and finished under cover; posts, rakes and levels are worked out on the ground with the block in front of us.

We work in Colorbond and steel, aluminium tube and flat-top sections, and custom-fabricated frames where a standard panel will not do the job.

The order of work

From first measure to handover

Every job runs through the same four stages. The sequence matters: each one produces the information the next one needs.

  1. Stage 01

    Site measure

We measure the run, record falls and retaining heights, check where services and verges sit, and confirm the swing or slide clearance a gate will need.

  2. Stage 02

    Written quote

You get the materials, heights, colours, gate type and automation hardware in writing, itemised, so you can compare it against anything else on the table.

  3. Stage 03

    Workshop fabrication

Frames and gate leaves are cut, welded and finished to the measured lengths before anything arrives on site, which keeps installation days short.

  4. Stage 04

    Install and handover

Posts are set, panels hung and raked, hardware aligned and automation commissioned. We walk you through the gate controls before we leave.

Materials and finishes

Chosen for a Perth summer, not a brochure

Western Australian conditions are hard on fencing. Sand gives poorly under post loads, summer sun works on powder-coat finishes and coastal air is unforgiving to unprotected steel. We specify around that rather than around the cheapest line item.

  • Colorbond steel sheet and posts in the standard colour range
  • Powder-coated aluminium tube for pool barriers and balustrade
  • Galvanised and coated steel frames for driveway and side gates
  • Concreted post footings sized to the fence height and exposure
  • Gate hardware and automation from established, serviceable brands

Where a job needs a non-standard height, an odd angle or an infill that has to match existing work, we fabricate it rather than force a stock panel to fit.

Tell us about the block

Boundary length, fence type, slope, and whether a gate needs to open on its own. That is enough for us to start a quote.
